ABBS is a UK-based defence engineering company. Established in 2009, we have a long history of designing, building and testing systems that protect personnel, infrastructure and aircraft — through rigorous engineering, live trials and a growing patent portfolio.

With real-time access to HMG think tanks, ABBS are afforded sight of cutting-edge and future threats, and retain the agility to address the problem as it’s arising.

About ABBS

Designed, built and tested in Britain

Formed in 2009, ABBS combines deep experience in blast survivability, rocket energetics, fusing, control and safety systems. Our current focus is the protection of homeland security and critical infrastructure against uncrewed threats, and supporting humanitarian efforts in minefield clearance.

We work alongside industry, government and research partners — taking systems from first principles to instrumented trials at approved ranges.
